I would give them zero stars if I could. The food was overcooked and resembled old, tough leather. Paying 30 bucks for that meal was a complete rip-off. I'm extremely disappointed! I definitely would not recommend this place. To make matters worse, they don’t answer their phone, so I can’t even let them know how awful my experience was. I had a wonderful experience at the drive-thru today thanks to Sharon, who was extremely friendly and provided excellent service. My food was served quickly, and I ordered the chicken sandwich, which was quite large! The chicken was delicious, the bun was fresh and not soggy, and the pickles were crispy without being overpowering.
As a huge fan of Mountain Dew, I couldn't resist trying Sweet Lightning. I ordered a four-piece chicken strip combo and gave the new flavor a shot. The peach flavor was enjoyable, and the honey aftertaste was a pleasant surprise. I definitely recommend it for fellow Mountain Dew enthusiasts. The chicken was delicious, but unfortunately, the biscuit was dry and crumbled when I took a bite.
The food was excellent, but we had to use the drive-thru to place our order. We waited at the counter for 20 minutes while they prioritized the drive-thru service, and then we finally had to go through the drive-thru to get our food.
We went through the drive thru last night and upon arriving home, we discovered that we didn’t get our chicken or biscuits that we’d ordered, only our 4 large sides. (We are at fault too, though, because we should have checked to make sure we had all of our order. We live about an hour north of Topeka, and it was late in the evening, so there was no going back to get it last night.
