Description
At IHOP, patrons experience a mix of culinary delights and occasional service hiccups. While many enjoy the gluten-free options and appreciated attentive staff, there were common complaints about cleanliness and food temperature. Meals, particularly the pancakes and omelets, varied in quality, leading to mixed reviews on specific dishes. The ambiance also drew attention, with some finding the restaurant chilly or lively, depending on the time of day. Despite these inconsistencies, the welcoming environment, friendly service, and nostalgic charm maintained IHOP's appeal, making it a go-to choice for family breakfasts or casual dining. Overall, a visit may yield both delightful meals and areas for improvement.

What can I say? It's IHOP. It's difficult to gauge the crowd since it varies throughout the day. It's great during the daytime, but if you visit after 2 AM on the weekend, be prepared for a noisy atmosphere with people sometimes falling out of their seats. That's when the late-night revelers arrive!
Susan was wonderful—both knowledgeable and friendly. She presented us with a variety of options. My friend and I decided to go with the same dish, the Buttermilk Chicken, and it certainly lived up to our expectations. Overall, IHOP is a fantastic place to try something different, especially if you don't visit frequently.
I absolutely loved that my son could enjoy gluten-free waffles and pancakes. We visited every morning for almost a week while on vacation with family. The server recognized us, promptly brought our usual drinks after we sat down, and asked if we wanted the same order as the day before. Everything was delicious!
What I enjoyed: I ordered pie and coffee which were both very good. The wait staff was very attentive once I was seated. Most were masked which at this date in the pandemic (first week of March 2022) is not necessary, but it showed their concern for patron safety and I appreciated that. Where I felt improvement was needed: I waited over 7 minutes to be seated mid morning during the week with less than 10 tables being used. I had to ask the cashier, Should I just seat myself? He had been busy with paperwork, but had definitely seen me waiting so I assumed he was waiting for a team member to come out and seat me. But he said, Oh! No, I 'll do it . Once at my table, I immediately experienced the foods the previous guests had enjoyed on my hands and clothing. Gross. I asked my wait staff if the table could be cleaned and pointed specifically to the area that was sticky while I used the bathroom to wash my hands and get the sticky grossness off my clothes. However upon my return I found that the table hadn 't been cleaned. Really? So I cleaned it myself with the provided napkin. When my coffee arrived I noticed that the coffee pot too was dirty. It had coffee stains all over it which was extremely off putting and unappetizing. Overall my experience was less than optimal. Basic public hygiene at the point of service fell far, far short of the lowest end of the bar. However, I will return in a month or 2 to try again. Perhaps that will give management time to hire more help and train them in proper hygiene practices.
