From the state TEXAN decide to give some KC-style bar-B-Q. Brazen enough to go with my Texans from the grace of God's T-shirt. Manager took my order and offered some burned ends. What Emma Asiri doesn't like about Hog Wild Pit -b-q:
The place is nice enough and the workers are very nice, however the food is not quite what I expected. This was my first visit and I will say all of the sides and desserts are nothing to write home about. The mashed potatoes taste like boxed, the beans are bushes baked beans I’m pretty sure and the cobblers are just a slice of cold pie cut up, just a little disappointed. View all feedback.
I was greeted as soon as I came in the door. Fast friendly service!
Casual dining! Service was very fast from order to ready.
It is a small restaurant, capacity 92 with a drive-thru option that had cars lined up around the parking lot. They offer a variety of smoked meats and multiple options to eat them. The brisket was tender, pulled pork and sausage combo was spicy and good. The sauce was spot on, and we bought a bottle to take home. Overall enjoyable experience and we will come back next time we pass through Topeka. Shoutout to Mikaela for great service. ?
Always good, hot, fresh, and my favorite spot to eat BBQ when I come into town! Definitely need to expand closer to North Kansas city and it would do well!
I only give a low atmosphere because of the parking. The drive through blocks people trying to park
