This is one of the old pancake house in Topeka KS downtown. When I visited for office trip, coworkers told that it’s more than 30 yrs old. Service was a bit slow and it wasn’t sparkly clean but not dirty either. I ordered spinach and mushroom omelette with tomato Hollandaise sauce on it, it was average and the sauce wasn’t tasting as Hollandaise sauce. French toast on side was nice and tasty. So my wife and I thought we would try this place since everyone thought it was so amazing. Well, buckle up buttercup. If you want bland white people food that's overpriced and underwhelming, then this place is for you. A go to for breakfast in Topeka. There’s usually a wait on the weekends because everyone wants to come here. The biscuits and gravy, and pancakes are delicious. A great diner breakfast! Don’t miss their seasonal pumpkin pancakes
This is our very favorite Place to eat breakfast! We make it a point to stop here on our way from Nebraska to KC. We even took friends this last time. p.s. Get the donut holes.... you won't regret it, even if it is to-go :
Everything was exceptional! Personally we'll give it an 8 out of 10 or four stars out of five. Worth the visit!
As a traveler, been this route many times but we never visited this restaurant, it was crowded but staff was very professional, wait was not long for a table, staff was very professional, food was great and plentiful.
