This bar/restaurant is a great spot with a variety of grilled cheese options, many of which can be made vegan. I tried the thin mini with vegan cheese and it was delicious. This is a nice bar/restaurant that has grilled cheeses of all sorts, many that can be veganized. I had the skinny mini which had vegan cheese and a variety of veggies. Nothing really skinny about it as it came with a boatload of kettle chips… super tasty tho. Tons of beer options as well. Probably not alot of healthy choices but a great place for the occasional splurge.
Always a good time, always great unique food and drinks; live music on the patio tops it all off.
Ate there with a couple friends after First Friday Art Walk, their Monte Cristo burger was amazing. Next time I may get braze and try the grilled peanut butter and jelly. Great atmosphere and fast service. Highly recommend.
The Wheel Barrel is a great place to just hang out. But, tonight, I had a sandwich that will make me come back even more often. The 'Not Your Mama 's ' BLT was a tasty combination of bacon, greens showered in a light vinaigrette, tomato, and herbed goat cheese. Normally, they would serve it with a sriracha aioli. I chose the basil pesto aioli and was not disappointed. The sandwich along with kettle cooked chips and a bottle of pineapple cider made for a good night out with my friend.
I love this place the staff, the atmosphere and, oh my, the food. Who'd imagine that a BLT could be improved upon but they do. And now they've begun a monthly poetry open mic night! Say what? Yep poetry and cheese nirvana to me :
