I ordered the prawn cocktail, which was delightful, especially with the fresh lemon to squeeze over it, while my friend had the garlic bread, which I sampled and found delicious as well. Main courses came about ten minutes later, and we both opted for spaghetti carbonara. It was absolutely out of this world! When the waiter returned to check if everything was to our liking, our plates were already empty. Although we weren't planning to order dessert, we asked the waiter for a recommendation, and he brought us a dessert to share with two little spoons. It was a lovely touch to end our evening. After we settled the bill, the waiter kindly took the time to share the history of the restaurant with us. I had no idea it had such a rich background! I would wholeheartedly recommend this place and can’t wait to return.

The food was delightful, the service was friendly and helpful, and the value for money was excellent. We were a group of 11, ranging in age from 5 to 60, and the restaurant catered to all our different tastes and requirements in a safe COVID environment. We will definitely be back soon!

We went for their Sunday roast dinner menu early this evening and were very happy: food was good (beef, pork and lamb were all very nice, Yorkshire puds were ex... read more We went for their Sunday roast dinner menu early this evening and were very happy: food was good (beef, pork and lamb were all very nice, Yorkshire puds were excellent), servings were generous, and it was excellent value for money at £20 for 3 courses (10£ for kid's 3 course). Staff were also very friendly. Will be back.
