Delicious food at very affordable prices. It's a charming family-run restaurant!
I felt ripped off after ordering a dessert that wasn't homemade, but rather sourced from a mass-produced cake supplier that also supplies Iceland's frozen products. We tried the chocolate cake, the torte non, and the cheesecake, and they were all disappointing. The slices were quite small for the price of £5.60! On a positive note, the fresh mint tea was decent, but I would suggest avoiding the desserts.
We wanted to go for lunch , but were greeted with a very unhelpful manager that told us the waiting time was very long, we were more than happy to wait, we asked how long and he replied in a very irritable manner very long ...clearly no customer service , no apologies were given ....we walked out and will not ever return....Really poor service
Bad service, pasta was pretty useless. Asked for a particular pizza without the ham (to make it vegetarian) and received it with the ham. After pointing this out, they took it back and returned a few minutes later, clearly having just taken the ham off there were still little pieces left! They said very sorry, we are busy ... there were only 3 tables occupied!! Asked for beer shandies, got normal beer. The desserts the other table had looked good, but didn 't feel brave enough to try.
