My son, Alex was an employee for only three short weeks at Wallach Farms he passed suddenly at the age of 22. Wallach Farms was amazing. They donated tons of food for his repass. They only knew Alex for a short period of time. They truly stood by our family in every way possible we are thankful for that View all feedback.
What cornelia gille doesn't like about Wallach's Farm Market Deli:
Felt like I visited two different stores. Ordered sandwiches on the deli side, super courteous help. Very friendly. Great service, great food.Went to the front store, spoiled produce, VERY NASTY counter help. Basically accused me of stealing because pasta was all priced wrong. Exceptional market! The sandwiches are fantastic, the produce is the freshest around, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
It's a bit expensive, but it's definitely worth it to skip the supermarket, especially since they carry Boar's Head cold cuts!
This is a lovely family-owned restaurant. Yes, they do charge a bit more for credit card transactions, similar to many places nowadays. I really enjoy dining here; there aren't many places like it left anymore.
I felt like I had two completely different experiences at this place. On the deli side, I ordered sandwiches and received excellent service. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly, and the food was fantastic. However, when I went to the front store, it was a completely different story. The produce was spoiled, and the counter staff were extremely rude. They practically accused me of stealing because the pasta was incorrectly priced. To make matters worse, they continued to chat loudly among themselves, saying how much better the people are in North Jersey, where they’re from. This was the worst service I’ve encountered in a long time. Now I understand why people recommend only going to the deli side. I just lost another loyal customer.
My son, Alex, worked at Wallach Farms for just three brief weeks before he tragically passed away at the age of 22. Wallach Farms was truly wonderful; they generously donated a large amount of food for his memorial service. Despite having known Alex for only a short time, they supported our family in every possible way, and we are deeply grateful for their kindness.
