Healthy And Delicious - Toms River

We ordered the buffalo salad, subbed for mixed greens and it was awful. We opened it and immediately regretted ordering. Very small. The greens were wilted and not fresh and there was barely any, I added some from home just to make it feel like a full salad. We usually love this place but tonight it definitely was a disappointment.Food: 2/5

We’ve been eating H&D for 8 years and love it- food is always consistent, staff are always nice, and you can tell the owner puts his all into his business and genuinely likes offering good food to the local community. The updated look is great too, highly recommend!Food: 5/5

I 'd like to start off by saying their order online process has flaws. Secondly, when we completed our order they contacted us and said it would be ready in 15 minutes (along with a separate text message)... fast forward to 1hr later it still wasn 't done! While waiting 'in store ' along with others, I could tell others were just as annoyed as I was.. if not worse. Long story short, they screwed up our order, forgot a item and the food we did get was terrible. I wish I hadn 't ate my food at home because I would 've asked for a refund if I chosen to eat in their establishment. What a waste of $37 and my time!!

The Good: I had a Chicken Avo Wrap with a side of sauteed spinach and it was very very good. The wrap was well balanced and the spinach was exactly as described. The Bad: My problem is that I do not like touching a ordering screen that every other customer before me has already touched. There is no wait service after your food is served and they want a tip too. Sorry but going here once was enough for me.

Nice looking little place. Fairly clean. Friendly staff. The food was okay and the menu pretty extensive. I had a vegan concoction that claimed to have beans and salsa, rice and crushed corn chips. It was tasty but there were only about a dozen beans in the dish. Aside from 1/2 of an avocado there was no more than one dollar worth of food on the plate. It was very dry and the tablespoon of hot sauce drizzled over the top did nothing to alleviate what turned out to be basically cold dry rice and chopped cilantro. I might go back again but as the restaurant experience included processing one's own order it seems like the place's bottom line may be more important than its customers.Dietary restrictions: A lot for vegetarians!
