I work up in Rahway so I frequent the restaurants on oak tree road, the food at Aamantran is really great. It’s nice to have a restaurant like this in Tom’s River. The butter chicken and the chicken biryani was great. Will be back!! View all feedback.
What Nitin Patel doesn't like about Aamantran Indian Cuisine:
See Response for their mind-set. Worst experience of Indian cuisine. Make sure calculate your bill because it is not computer calculated. One of the rude manager I have ever met. Ready for lassi in paper cup by excuse they ran out glass cup. Don't go in more people group, otherwise they will put you last in queue. Ask to pay by cash they gave you tax discount. Look no further! This is one great restaurant! The owner and family are beyond nice and great conversationalists! I felt at home, literally!! I started with a lentil soup which was amazing! Then I had the mushroom appetizer which I wish I had more! Next time it’s a double because I loved it that much!! Then I had the Chicken Tika Masala. Oh…..my……gosh!!! Simply amazing!! I requested garlic naan which was fresh out of the oven!! Had to eat the whole basket of naan!! Almost ordered another basket! They nailed the heat! I ordered 7 heat which made me sweat a touch and welcomed. Absolutely perfect and not painful, lol. Simply an amazing restaurant. Service, owners, waiter, and food A . I will be back!! Vegetarian options: Plenty of great options Parking: Plenty. Don’t worry. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access and ample parking
Food and service were perfect. I had the lamb chops, cooked perfectly, tender. The chicken kabobs were so good. The garlic Kulcher was delicious. Definitely a do again!
I moved out of NJ four years ago and I miss this restaurant so much. I try to make a stop here whenever I visit. Although the staff has changed to a younger set, the ambience and food are still incredible. BYOB. Lots of menu choices from different parts of India too. Tons of vegetarian options. Vegetarian options: Many, many options. Kid-friendliness: They welcome kids. But don't expect an American kids menu like chicken fingers and fried. They're eating Indian food. Maybe they'll go for some rice and tandoori chicken?
