Their smokehouse burger is superb, but this time I had the monthly special: a burger with fried green tomatoes artisan pimento cheese with jalapeños. Their tots fries are incredible (ask them for the secret! and their selection of real sugar sodas includes creme soda and root beer with unlimited refills. The staff is amazing (Jay is ever helpful friendly . Great atmosphere, family friendly, good music selection.Parking: There's no longer street parking right in front, but there are plenty spaces one street over behind or in one of the parking lots near the railroad tracks. Unless there's an event going on, parking won't be a problem.

I also love that they have a nice assortment of fresh toppings available to build your burger as you want, including wonderful pico de gallo, regular dill or thick cut pickled cucumbers, and pink pickled onions! The bun is perfectly toasted and compliments the rest of the burger.I'm a huge fan of burgers and have gone to all the best burger places in the Houston area and nothing quite compares to this! It's absolutely worth the drive! And again, the incredible smokey flavor in this beef can't be understated.Parking: Depends on the day and time, but expect to park at least a block away. There's street parking all over, but not on the main road so no matter what you'll have a bit of a walk.

In fac... read more The food at this restaurant is outstanding, particularly the monthly special burger, the Tiki. It is incredible and surpasses all of their other burgers. In fact, it ranks among the top five burgers I've ever tasted, and I've tried plenty! The burgers are crafted from brisket and smoked just like traditional brisket. You definitely need to check out this spot, and while you're nearby, be sure to stop by Tejas BBQ around the corner for some fantastic brisket. Thursdays are pastrami days there, and the pastrami is excellent as well!
