The restaurant is situated in the centre of the old town a few minutes walk from the railway and bus stations. We love the ambiance of the restaurant which is light and spacious. The menu is limited, but has a good range of traditional Portuguese fare and includes specialities such a wild boar, swordfish and octopus as well as more common dishes. The food has always been perfectly cooked and delicious. The waiting staff are helpful and speak English if you need. The food is reasonably priced. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

The meal came... read more Our guide brought us to the restaurant for lunch and we had octopus with rice. It was very flavorful and soft and chewy just to the right texture. The meal came pretty fast too compare to other places we had been to, the meal was out within 20 minutes for a table of 6 people. By the way, the portion is pretty big, enough for 2 people to split one.
