Typically... read more A fantastic little bar in Tomah, WI. Despite the pandemic, my friend and I couldn’t resist stopping by my favorite spot: a charming, old downtown bar. Typically, it’s quite lively, especially on a Saturday afternoon in the fall when college football attracts a large crowd. However, given the current circumstances, it was surprisingly calm, with only about 10-12 patrons present, all enjoying darts on the six beautifully vintage dart machines. There’s also a pool table and ample space for a larger crowd once things return to normal. I highly recommend Franny's as one of the best, authentically old, charming little bars around.

Due to the pandemic we should not have REALLY, but my friend and I stopped at my favorites: a great LITTLE, old bar in downtown. Usually, it is likely to be pretty crowded.... Saturday night. in autumn means college football and LOTS of people. There is plenty of space to stand at safe distances. And because of the pandemic it was safe. There were maybe 10-12 people, all playing darts at 5 or 6, beautiful old, dart machines. There is also a pool table and room for a nice amount when we are back normal.... Franny is very high on the list of big, honest old, small bars.
