If you're looking for an American-style pizza in a restaurant with an American vibe, this is the place for you! The interior is decorated with many humorous posters that add to the enjoyable atmosphere. The 1000 Yen lunch set includes a salad, drink, and a small pizza (medium in Japanese size). Customers can choose two toppings, and we selected speck and salami for one pizza and green pepper and ham for the other. The pizzas are served hot and fresh, straight from the oven. The pizzas are incredibly delicious with plenty of cheese - nothing beats the American pizza here! For 1500 Yen, customers can also enjoy all-you-can-eat pizza, but this option may be better suited for larger groups who can eat more.

This cozy pizzeria offers a vegan option, making it a great choice for those who don't prefer vegan cheese. It's worth noting that this is not a strictly vegan restaurant, as they also offer plenty of meat options for non-vegan diners. I tried a pizza with half mushrooms and half pepperoni, which was delicious. The owner is from California and another staff member I met was from Charleston, South Carolina. The menu is available in both English and Japanese, making it easy for non-Japanese speakers to navigate. I'm sure they can also accommodate guests who speak Japanese. Overall, it was a fun dining experience.

Over the years, many pizza restaurants have come and gone, but Pizzakaya remains a favorite. Guests can enjoy classic choices like torte with pfeffersalat, or try their unique creations like the delicious Santa Fe pizza (featuring caramelized onions, lime chicken, and guacamole on top). Their 1000 yen lunch special is one of the best deals in the city.

You could make a few different pizzas vegan and they also had gluten free crust available, but the gluten free crust in particular wasn't great. Vegetable toppings were good.

The vegan pizza options are really great here, but when your bill for a 10 and 14 inch pizza, fries, garlic knots and one pitcher of beer is ¥13,400, that better be some specialty pizza. I got the mushroom pizza and it was good, it hit the spot. The fries were normal fries and I can’t speak for the garlic knots because those are not vegan Oh and the craft beer from tap is great. I would go back for the beer. The vibes the night we were there were kind of standoffish, but maybe our man was having a rough night. We got everything in good time and got what we asked for so it wasn’t bad service. Would recommend you try them out once at least and decide for yourself.
