they have a vegan option, they can also do pasta without speck and the place is really relaxing. they can sit in normal table or in a room with hammocks and tatami. hippie vibes! I also like the owner who is against the mask system. updated by previous review on 2022 06 10 View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Cafe Stay Happy:
great ambiente, including hammocks, but they kicked us out after two hours because we would not buy dinge anymore, even if we already spent 2,500 yen and we were the only customers at their huge place. very expensive and stupid policy for a caffe, but beautiful place with some vegan options. they have lost a lot of us. This cafe encourages to come with a smile, and in return they give you smiles. You do this by encouraging you not to wear a mask if you do not want (this is even written in the menu book) and the staff has all naked faces and are very happy. I was just for tea and cake, but would like to return for a bigger meal. Very cozy interior and clientele. Staff are very friendly and know about veganism. very delicious matcha with homemade syrup.
They have some vegan option (they can also do pasta without bacon) and the place is really relaxing. You can sit in normal table or in a space with hammocks and tatami. Hippie vibes! I like also the owner who is against the mask system. Updated from previous review on 2022-06-10
I love this place, I smile so much here and I know the fantastic chef and service lady are too. Just good vibes. Food is delicious, we ate the vegan plates. Perfect size. AND best part of all, relax in a hammock between vintage shopping in Shimo. Great job, recommend!
Awesome ambiance, including hammocks, but they kicked us out after two hours because we wouldn't buy more things even though we already spent 2,500 yen and we were the only customers in their huge place. Very expensive and bullshit policy for a cafe, but beautiful place with some vegan options. They lost a lot of business from us.
Had one vegan cake option and almost all the drinks can be made vegan w a soy milk switch. They have some odd flavored coffees drinks that I tried that didn’t quite pan out though—recommend sticking w the basic type coffee w soy milk! Nice ambience.
