Delicious falafel salad bowl and falafel sand. Amazing fried eggplant, very juicy but the vegan meat was super crunchy, but the bread was a bit try The vegan soft ice cream was great even without the use of dairy products. Raspberry flavour topping slays!! A mix of sweet and sour, smooth texture Not too sweet iced soy latte, recommended A go-to place for vegans
A cozy little cafe offering super fresh and delicious falafel, either in pittas or salad bowls, plus a selection of drinks including smoothies. And to top it off, they also do vegan ice cream with a variety of toppings. The food here was fantastic, I wouldn’t hesitate to return. It’s only a small cafe so if you arrive at a busy time you might have to wait outside for a table, or get a takeaway instead. One other point to note my “spicy” falafel salad bowl was not really that spicy at all. So if you have a low spice tolerance I don’t think you need to worry about ordering this.
What can I say, totally delicious falafel salads. I even forgot to take pictures! Jokes aside, the falafels were freshly made and fried nicely. Salads yum. The drinks are refreshing we had a banana, banana berry, Berry soda and berry soy.
Ballon is a tiny vegan place located near nakameguro station and a mere 15 minute walk from Daikanyama. I tried their falafel snack and their famous soft cream, which you can get in many declensions of toppings and tastes. I tries the salted pistachio one and it was very good. Soft cream itself is not very sweet and not particularly tasting but it balance well the sweetness and deep taste of its toppings. Falafel snack was not great to be honest. A bit too small and overcooked. I think was an accident but it can be done better. This is their only shop, the owner is a master chef. The staff is very friendly and communicative, I greatly appreciated that. I would come here often if it was not so far from a station. But their soft cream worth the walk.
Really good falafel wrap. I haven't had this kind of food in Japan and I gotta say that they made pretty authentic wraps. The sauce wasn't really spicy but it went really well with the falafel. I also really liked that they put a lot of vegetables in the wrap. If you want to have a healthy wrap, this is the place to go.
