Mcdonald's - Toccoa
Mcdonald's
Description
The dining experience at MickeyDees in Toccoa reveals a blend of positive and negative aspects. While the food generally meets expectations and the atmosphere is family-friendly, many patrons express frustration over order inaccuracies and slow service. Issues with payment processing add to the inconveniences, and cleanliness appears to be lacking in certain areas. On a brighter note, some staff members, particularly Beverly and manager Sarah McCracken, receive high praise for their exceptional customer service. Overall, while the restaurant has its strengths, consistent execution and attentiveness are needed for an improved experience.

I was really looking forward to ordering an adult Happy Meal at McDonald's. I went ahead and bought one, but unfortunately, it didn’t come with the toy. So if you decide to try it from McDonald's menu, don’t count on getting the toy.
I ordered two cheeseburgers from McDonald's, but ended up with two hamburgers that had buns so hard they crunched when I bit into them. Completely unacceptable. I threw them away and won’t be coming back to McDonald's again. Tired of wasting money on items from their menu that don’t meet basic expectations.
This location features a double drive-thru, and they typically alternate between the two lanes to take orders. However, during my visit, I noticed they took four orders from the other lane while I was waiting. They kept assuring me it would only be a minute, but instead, they continued to serve customers from the other side. The service was poor, and the person at the payment window was quite rude. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
This McDonald's has really declined in quality. I waited alongside other customers for service while employees were distracted on their phones. The restaurant was dirty, with trash left uncollected and food littered on the floor. The tables were also not cleaned. It was sticky around the registers, which was quite off-putting. The drinks were unavailable, and the coffee tasted like it had been brewed the day before. There were no napkins available; they were crammed into the dispenser so tightly that they fell apart when I tried to grab one. I had to approach the counter twice just to complete my order and get the condiments. The management really needs to step up—customer service should be a priority. This McDonald's in Tocoa desperately needs a thorough cleaning. There are plenty of people looking for jobs who would be eager to help.
We went through the drive-thru and ended up waiting an unusually long time. When we finally reached the last window, we were informed that we had paid for the wrong order! They gave us a small amount of change back, but the real problem was the lengthy wait. If having two lanes is leading to these delays, perhaps it would be better to switch to just one lane.
