It was 9:30 PM when we pulled into the drive-thru. At the speaker, we were prompted to try their signature chicken sandwich. We asked to take a moment to decide, but when we were ready to place our order, we were informed that they were out of chicken. Seriously? This is a chicken restaurant (KFC) that has no chicken available! Incredible, especially considering they close at 10 PM.
I was informed that if I wanted to substitute any meat, it would take a 25-minute wait, which seems unreasonable, especially since I just wanted wings instead of thighs.
This was my first time trying KFC’s crispy chicken sandwich, and it was delicious! The sandwich includes mayo and pickles, with a slightly toasted bun. I also ordered a side of ranch for dipping.

I was really disappointed with my recent order. I got a Famous Bowl and a large mac and cheese, but the chicken was overcooked and tough. The bowl was dry, and everything had a soggy texture. I paid $44 for the meal and live about 30 minutes away, approximately 12 miles. It just wasn't worth it!
My top choice for chicken and mashed potatoes is definitely KFC. There's truly no other place like it, and it stands out from the rest. After having gone through 40 surgeries, I always turn to their potatoes and gravy for comfort whenever I'm not feeling well.
I ordered a 12-piece bucket of chicken, and usually, there are at least two chicken breasts included. However, that wasn't the case today—it was just legs and thighs, with no breasts at all. I had two pieces, and honestly, I think I would have gotten more meat from just one chicken strip. So, a word of caution: if you decide to get the 12-piece bucket, be prepared for the possibility that it won't contain any breasts.
This is probably one of the best fast food places in town. The service is consistently fast, and there's hardly ever a line to wait in. The food is always fresh and served hot. The staff is friendly and accommodating.
