Stayed not far whilst on holiday. Food was really good (kids fish and chips, beef off of the specials and fish off the menu). Service was good. Ate in a Friday night in Aug, seemed everyone was wanting to eat around 6.30-7 quietened later. Dog friendly. Need to book. View all feedback.
What donna anderson doesn't like about The Wild Hare:
I booked a table on the 29th for two people and I’m really disappointed with the meal I had, the steak was burnt and quite tough. The waiter brought out my steak without any sauce, on your previous menu there was always Peppercorn sauce on the side. I wasn’t even asked what sauce I would like with my steak which is bad customer service. I then asked where the sauce was, and the chef told the waiter that he would not... View all feedback.
A lovely little coffee shop at the side of the pub . Great food friendly attentive staff in a cosy atmosphere. Highly recommend. Service: 4 Location: 5
Very friendly and welcoming staff, very warm atmosphere.
Only visited on s sunny Sunday afternoon for a beer. The restaurant was filling up with diners and looked busy. Didn't eat and cannot comment on food or rooms. I can say that the atmosphere was convivial and service cheerful. Must look in for lunch soon. The location is superb for whatever you want to do on the Wye Valley. Service: 5 Location: 5
We didn’t stay, but stopped off for food during a walk. Confusing place to order food because they’ve got 2 3 different restaurants in the same building. However, there’s a great pizza place round the side which does vegan pizza and the best fries. Welcoming atmosphere in a building with some historical significance.
