However... read more We live right across from this place and decided to stop by for a drink since they allow dogs. Our dog was no issue at all, and neither were the drinks. However, we ended up staying longer and spending more than just a few drinks! The staff was incredibly friendly and seemed genuinely glad to help. They had a dedicated vegan menu and were more than happy to accommodate our dietary needs without any hint of annoyance. The food was delightful—everything tasted fresh and homemade. We overheard the staff interacting with other customers, and their approach was consistently friendly, professional, and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised by how lovely the atmosphere was and the great quality of the meal at such an affordable price. We will definitely be returning!

There are also a few tables on the riverside, although in the summer, those with a keen sense of smell might want to avoid sitting there. The staff was wonderful, the food was tasty, and we had a lovely time together. I would definitely love to return if I visit again.

I was here on a Sunday around lunchtime but early enough to grab a table next to the river for a pint which on a sunny day is beautiful. Good Wye Valley ales on tap. I didn't stay for food but apparently it would have been worth booking a reservation for Sunday lunch as they get pretty busy.

Booking a table via Sally couldn't have been easier and everyone there was lovely. The tables in the pub are nicely spaced out so you don't feel cramped or worry that you might bump into someone's chair as you do in other overcrowded places. A traditional pub in the best sense of the word as you can sit and have a chat long after your meal has ended and enjoy the beautiful view of the River Wye. 4 of us went for Sunday Lunch and the pub looked great even on an overcast day. The lunch offerings themselves are delicious and the desserts are somehow even better. Excellent value for money considering the portion size too. Highly recommend a visit here!

The food was not only delicious but also very affordable. My son ordered a steak and declared, "it was the best!" I highly recommend this place.
