We were at a swim meet in Rainbow Beach and stayed here overnight. Had a warm welcome by Paul when we arrived who ran us through what was around and in the room. The room was big enough for three children and two adults in reasonable comfort. The children's only complaint was the wifi was a bit dodgy. Ours was that as the pub is next door there was a bit of noise, but not bad. Overall comfortable and reasonably price... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sleepy Lagoon Hotel:
I was tired from travelling so I opted for a pizza. It was okay, but I wished I stayed and sat for a meal as every one else' meals looked delicious as they came out the kitchen. Staff where friendly and the beer was great. Top little pub. Next time I'll have a sit down meal View all feedback.
We couldn’t get in anywhere else so went to the Hotel. Typical pub menu so we had the rissoles. Left half on the plate went back to the Motel. Other customers were taking their meals back saying they weren’t hot enough. Try somewhere else first.
Never judge a book by its cover!! Great pub, great food, great prices and friendly service! Can't wait to return!
I don't think the pub lived up to its very good reviews. There was nothing wrong with it, but it was pub food.
Great meal and great service staff very helpful was very good pub look after us but one let down was the two people who didn't care much about the language and bad gesture they were doing but just blocked them out from our meal
A great reminder to never judge a book by its cover! An unassuming local pub with a great selection menu where the meals themselves are better than good! Food was cooked perfectly and meal sizes were generous, all whilst paying pub prices. Definitely will return.
