Cooloola Coast Seafoods - Tin Can Bay

Second time I've been there. Second time I shouldn't have been there. The fish was tough as old boots and it was so oily that the crumbing just fell straight off it as soon as we unwrapped the paper. The other person I was with couldn't even eat their piece of fish. I can't understand how it's even possible to own a fish and chip shop and not know how to crumb and cook fish properly. Can't use being busy as an excuse because we were the only customers. Didn't even get any lemon with the fish.

Ordered 2 pieces of crumbed snapper supposedly filleted the day earlier. Fillets were thin and small. Very tough. Stuck in my teeth like after eating a steak. Would waste my time or money there again

Absolutely disgusting! How the hell can anyone stuff up fish and chips! The tartare sauce was off and curdled and had to pay for a lemon wedge! The owners have terrible customer service skills. Please avoid this place like the plague!

We were in tin can bay today and after finding 2 places without EPTOS we were told about this shop..was very surprised that they had nice fish to choose from and very reasonably priced..I picked Barra and it was very lovely..enjoyed our fish and chips from there ...will be back if we go back to tin can Bay and yes they have EPTOS.lol..I asked first before I put my order in..

Stopped in for some lunch and advice on fishing bait. Friendly enough and resnobly priced. Food was quick. Got the choice of salt or no salt which was nice. Food was tasty and both enjoyed it. We eat from there again
