Lloyd - Timişoara

A kind of decaux-inspired restaurant right on the large square. I had the beef salad, grilled vegetables and local style dessert. It was quite delicious, but it was missing a certain wow factor. Nothing bad. Staff service was friendly and helpful. It is a beautiful place for local and international cuisine. Recommended.

I went to Lloyd's on Thursday to spend a relaxing evening with my friends. It was a nice experience because of the pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. What I liked was the live music. The vocal piano duo (Casiana and Sebastian) delighted us all, they are young and very talented. We'll be back for another successful evening.

Interior of a historic palace, with some signs of wear and tear, but amazing location. Excellent food, good value for money. Some of the best Romanian wine is available by the glass. Superb service.

We went for lunch on a Saturday and had a lovely time although the service was pretty slow.All the food was well cooked an we had excellent papanasi with berry marmelade, the pancakes were not extraordinary but good.The place is nice, fancy and has a good terrace.Portions were reasonable and prices a bit over average due to the great location.However I went another time alone and the standard varied significantly, service was ok but the food was not as good as the previous day. So in a way I agree with previous review you get a gamble between 3-4.
