I am... read more A few years ago at the Tinecz restaurant the food was very good. Now things have changed. I ate a Black Angus antricot that was definitely not Black Angus. I am a beef eater, but I have never seen such an old and fat cow...(25 30% fat! . And, although I specified that I want medium , the meat came well done . In Black Angus antricot the fat is inserted between the muscles, but in the old beef from Tinecz the fat was all around the meat and had a thickness of 1.5 2 cm. Terrible! The portion cost 200 lei (40 euros with this money I would have eaten real Black Angus at many other restaurants in Timisoara. Now I understood why the Tineck restaurant was empty: the customers who appreciated this restaurant a few years ago should have sat at the empty tables, but they had an bad experience and never came back. Me neither!

The first one was Restaurant Timișoreana, closed for renovations, the second one, Lloyd, was a fancy center located amd overpriced restaurat, the third one, very...recommended, called Curtea Berarilor didnt serve soups after 6 pm. There another one called Nora, but was way off my reach therefore I had to try this one, and proved well worth it. They had everything you could think of and very accommodating. Nice terrace, very friendly staff, my waitress, a blode lady was top notch. Very fast service with lits of smiles. I had plenty of soups to chose for. I picked beans with smoked bacon soup and a traditional stew with polenta called Tochitura and pickles. Both delicios. I dont drink therefore I had a green team as well. Prices are very good, I checked. The restaurant is not in the centre, it is about 2 kilometers from the centre, 30 minuts walk or 10 minutes driving. I drove. This is the only turn off but this is the reason the place is not very busy and prices are lower than the restaurants prime located lile Carul Berarilor. Go and enjoy a good dinner while visiting this beautiful city!

I ate two dishes, a salad and banana pancakes, and I was simply delighted with their taste. Revoming with confidence....The staff is very helpful, kind and knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu.
