After reading the Walleye ( local Thunder Bay magazine ) article top ten burgers I thought I have to try the angry Frenchman burger. Poutine on burger how can you go wrong. Big messy tasty burger. Definitely going back. View all feedback. What User doesn't like about Lumberjacks:
Had the Angry Frenchman which had poutine on top. It was good. the burger had good flavor and was juicy. Fries were regular boxed fries. The place itself was a hole in the wall off St. Paul's Street. The interior was pretty dirty and a bit disgusting to say the least. Where do you think all that dust goes that is covering your ceiling tiles? Soap and water would go a long way. read moreFor a little hole in the wall, the burgers are out of this world. Big, beefy and delicious. Try the Desperado. You'll leave full.
Heart attack on a plate! Huge, greasy portions of spicy, cheesy goodness! Get take out or eat at their one or two tables on the street.

read moreLumberjacks is a hole-in-the-wall spot with mixed reviews. The Angry Frenchman burger had poutine on top and was messy but tasty. The Zorba burger was massive and filling. The interior was dirty, and the service could have been friendlier. The limited seating, frozen fries, and tough beef in the donair were disappointing. However, the local beef patty in the Bad A** Burger was excellent. The breakfast menu was delicious, especially the pancakes and skillet breakfast. The place offers Canadian and East Indian dishes, both large and tasty. Despite the downsides, the affordable prices and variety of dishes may make it worth a visit.
