Niva's Restaurant - Thunder Bay

Delicious lunch and excellent service from her first-class hostess and waitress. I wish I had their names. I was excited to try some FINNISH PANCAKES (like Crepes) and not disappoint them. My wife got a burger, a barber and cake and was also satisfied with her choice. I wish I could go back and try the Putin!

We absolutely enjoyed our Finns pancakes. The service was friendly and welcoming, even on the busiest days.

I'm asking for a difference in gravity. I rarely eat restaurant engraving, like most from a powdered engraving base. Niva is actually made from the drops of the protein. I'm not a big eater, so when I go there, I eat all the frits with their wonderful engraving and get the hot turkey to go. Then I have two meals. One as half a hot turkey and the other as a sandwich with the gravy drenched breadpot and cranberry sauce... mmmm. In all the fairness of the negative critic, I still have to try the hot beef... or something else I can't go beyond my love of turkey... and you can ask for white or dark meat... unusual for most restaurants.

Nice local breakfast diner. The staff is wonderful and friendly. I was not too sure to have their desserts and said I would skip them because of my peanut allergy so that our server went the extra mile and their kitchen staff spoke to me and assured me that their desserts would be fine for me and that they do not use peanuts/peanut butter in the kitchen.

Niva's was terrific. Good was awesome. Hollandaise sauce was the best I ever had. Very busy but they had lots of help, Rare these days, and paid attention to customers.
