Italian Cultural Centre - Thunder Bay

My daughter and I went to the lunch buffet and wished we had checked it out before we paid. It was terrible. Not like it was before,,will never go back

I am unsure of where to explain my story and I need to express my opinion. I recently attended an event at the Italian Cultural which did not go as planned; I have tried to contact them but they are ignoring me. I would not attend an event there again or in the future because of the unprofessional service and the fact some of their servers reeked of illegal substances. To each their own, but it was very sad because I thought the centre would be a good place to get the family together after our relative's funeral. I was wrong, please do not make the same mistake I did. On an ending note, after consuming the food, I felt ill.

They do lunch buffets here, but beware they will be full of old people. Really old people. The spaghetti suppers are what they are famous for. You can sit in to eat or take away. Take away spaghetti you may wonder? What you do is bring two big pots, (or what every you can get your hands on) one for the spaghetti and one for the meatballs. They do proper big meatballs made with pork! They fill up your dishes full of the spaghetti and meatballs. Its enough to feed a family of 6. I have to say its a funny sight to see people lined up with their saucepans outside the hall.
