Thai Kitchen - Thunder Bay

Honestly, my favorite restaurant in thunderbay. eating is always good, the time to get it is short, and I am more and more than satisfied. they give me heaping amounts drowned on my padthai, and I love it.

Quality grub from a local staple, this place never disappoints. Will come here almost every time a guest visits from out of town. Don't skip on the spring rolls if you know what's good for you!

We were partially satisfied with our take out order of:#19 pad king (ginger stir fry)#22 Kaeng keow wan (green curry)#26 khao pad krapow (fried rice)Good: fast, friendly service, fresh veggies, nicely cooked chicken, big portionsNot so good we like spicy food and Thai food in general, but these meals were way spicier than the “mild” (19) and “medium” (22 and 26) that we ordered, and the flavours unfortunately were masked by overpowering heat- The fried rice was not fried. It seemed just mixed with a few other ingredients The side rice accompanying the curry was not fully cooked, with some hard pieces in with it- The very polite person taking our order at the door unfortunately wasn’t able to answer our questions about other menu items (spice level/what veggies included), other than just reading the menu to us

The pad krapow the other night for the start. the taste was good, but it was so salty I couldn't eat it. the chefs must taste their food before they are served. paid $22 for 1 court. not worth it.

For the first time, all staff had so good moods and friendly nature. felt very welcome. the ambiente is beautiful. affordable price and amazing amount of directed. they have included all allergies/food restrictions of our group. if they are vegan / vegetarian / allergic to certain foods, this restaurant will accommodate and has a lot of directed that do this!
