Thorpedo
Description
Nestled in a small town, this family restaurant has been a local staple since 1965, known for its classic American fare and inviting atmosphere. While the breakfast options receive high praise for their quality, service, and quick delivery, mixed reviews point to occasional issues with meal timing and staff treatment. Highlights include delicious, hot breakfasts served all day and a variety of homemade pies. However, some diners express frustration with certain aspects, such as inflated soda prices and limited salad dressing options. Overall, the restaurant remains a popular stop for those seeking hearty meals and friendly service.

Food was good I had steak, eggs, and hash browns and my wife had biscuits and gravy. The steak lacked flavor.
If you want great service, friendly staff, good food and a fair price, this is the place. If you want fancy, go to Minneapolis. We always try to time our trips so that we can eat here. Soups are home made, food comes out hot and fast, and the smiling staff know what they are doing. As for the pies; just make sure you have loose clothes. They are delicious!
Nice place, definitely felt like a diner from another era. Friendly staff and good food.
