Although the welcome lived up to my expectations, I must admit that the culinary experience was rather mixed. As soon as I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly atmosphere that reigns in this establishment. The staff was smiling, professional and always ready to meet my needs. Their friendliness helped create a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. However, I was disappointed by the slow service. The dishes took a considerable amount of time to arrive at my table, which made the wait somewhat frustrating. While I understand that preparing food can be time consuming, I would have appreciated better communication from the staff to avoid unnecessary frustration. As for the cuisine, I found the dishes quite disappointing. The flavors lacked depth and the dishes lacked finesse. The plates were presented in a neat manner, but unfortunately this was not enough to make up for the lack of flavor. I felt like the dishes lacked creativity and passion, which was a disappointment considering the praise I had heard before. Luckily, the setting was one of the highlights of this experience. The shaded terrace offered a very pleasant freshness, creating a pleasant atmosphere conducive to relaxation. It was a great place to enjoy lunch, which partly made up for the disappointments with the food. In conclusion, although the Le Peron restaurant in Geneva enjoys a warm welcome and attentive service, the dining experience fell short of my expectations. Slow service and average food quality tarnished my overall experience. Nevertheless, the magnificent setting of their shaded terrace remains an undeniable asset.
