Best fondue in Geneva Restaurant that lives up to its reputation with a great atmosphere and top-notch, attentive service Warm !!! All is well !!!!!
We arrived during posted hours of the food truck to eat a buger Sunday afternoon. After waiting 10 minutes and getting the wrong information from another employee, the chef running the food truck arrived. He answered the phone before talking to us, then looked at...us like we had a problem, told us he was closed (and of course his colleague didn't know that) and then looked past us. Unacceptable service.
An old waitress who responds unfriendly and aggressively to customers. We were ignored by the staff, who instead of apologizing for the more than detestable service, responded to us with an extraordinary lack of respect. I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone. It was truly embarrassing and deplorable. A huge disappointment for a fondue that was probably pre-made and without any flavor, what a shame. There are so many better fondues in Geneva, what a bad experience, morel fondue 42 francs and there are 2 dried morels in it. Disgusting.
(Original) Very traditional, non innovative, chalet style, classic, very average and easily forgettable experience. There are better fondues in Geneva, no point going out of your way for this one. Staff is lovely but really you can tell nothing has changed in a long time. For Switzerland it's an OK fondue, though if you never had it you will enjoy it very much! My kid was sat in a high chair though which I appreciated they booked for me ahead of time.
Very bad experience in this restaurant, although we had reserved to celebrate a happy event, the waitress literally ruined the evening for us. We had specified on the phone when booking that we had a dog but when we arrived the waitress jumped on us looking as if we were disturbing to tell me that they no longer accepted large dogs since a change in their policy and that this time we could eat but there was no point in coming back with our dog. My dog weighs a little over 10kg and is far from being a large dog but rather a medium to small dog. The atmosphere was subsequently frosty and all this to eat a slightly mushy fondue in a very noisy room. In short, this restaurant has changed a lot over the years and to all dog owners of a breed other than a Chihuahua: run away!
