Booked a table for two on TheFork 15 minutes before arrival with the 50% offer. The restaurant was almost empty. A third friend joined about 15 minutes after th... read more Booked a table for two on TheFork 15 minutes before arrival with the 50% offer. The restaurant was almost empty. A third friend joined about 15 minutes after the booking time and ordered only a small pasta starter. TheFork clearly allowed booking for more guests under the same discount, and I saw on their tablet that they could modify it within 30 minutes. Despite this, the waitress refused to include his dish on our bill, even though it would be the same as one of us ordering an extra course. She was inattentive, often chatting with colleagues behind the bar, and refused to speak English though she could. We stayed calm and polite, even created a second account as she suggested, but she was unreasonable and walked away mid-conversation when we pointed out the facts. My CHF 47 veal was two small pieces on steamed vegetables – basic and bland. Both pastas were average and unfinished. Highly disappointing overall. I won’t be returning.
