My youngest daughter and I go once a week to a restaurant we have never been to. She lives in Harlem, Ga. I live in South Aiken, SC. This restaurant was clean, atmosphere was so good, our waitress was so kind, and gave us everything we needed. Their sweet tea is so good. Their fried chicken wings were delicious. Lime beans, rice and gravy, collard greens, and so much more were sooo good. The Peach cobbler was like my grandmother's recipe. Please everyone, come try this restaurant out!!

Ivery’s has been a staple in my family for more than a decade. Not enough time or space to go into details about this place. One thing that stands out about Ivery’s is the food is CONSISTENTLY DELICIOUS!!! If your looking for good down home cooking and your in Thomson, this is the place that will NOT disappoint. Food is served buffet style. You pay one price and you can eat as much as you can hold OR until the food runs out. I have known them to run out of certain dishes. It can get very crowded, especially during lunch time hours into the late afternoon. So if there is something on the menu you, you particularly enjoyed, don’t wait because it just might get are up. The cabbage is to die for. That’s my favorite. They serve fish on Friday’s. Today, they served catfish and mullet. Not a fan of mullet but everyone at my table and some surrounding table were expressing how good the mullet was and how well prepared it was too. I love that they have multiple bottles of condiments for the consumers convenience. If you like mustard on your mullet or hot sauce on your cabbage and fried chicken, no worries…there are plenty of bottles to go around. Speaking of the fried chicken…hot, crispy and juicy is all I can say. The only thing that was missing was the fried fatback. All I can say is, whatever you get on your plate, you cannot go wrong. Dining at Ivery’s is always a pleasant experience. The servers are very accommodating and friendly. The atmosphere is very family oriented and you definitely feel a sense of community when you eat here. One last thing…kudos to the cooks!

The food here is amazing and plentiful. The vegetables are excellent and the fried pork chops and grilled chicken are outstanding. Highly recommended for a satisfying meal.
