Although this restaurant looks more like a tea room, I had heard good things about it, so decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed at all! We were warmly welcomed and the food was delicious. We received a foie gras crème brûlée as an appetizer that was most unusual but very appreciated. We had the mushrooms for the starter and then my partner had game while I held on a traditional entrecôte. Everything was cooked for perfection and dessert was raised (Trio der Crème brûlées). I wouldn't hesitate to go here for a good meal if you're not fussy about the decor.

While walking through the beautiful countryside between Bercher and Moudon, I had a lunch break at Chez Greg thanks to the positive reviews and an attractive offer from LaFourchette. The café like dining room boasts a relaxed feeling, in which you can enjoy either a full meal or simply a couple of drinks. Thumbs up to the waitress (Pauline) for her friendly service during the lunch. The menu is short and prouds itself on homemade dishes, prepared à la minute. Even at lunch time, I could enjoy an amuse bouche brought by the chef: a refreshing cold tomato soup. As starter the homemade ravioli with cantrels proved flavourful and delicious. As main course I chose the pike perch fillets served with seasonal vegetables and homemade fries: tasty and nicely presented portion. Unreasonably I indulged myself in some profiteroles for dessert: to die for but definitely not for the health conscious. The prices reflect Swiss usual (high) standards. However, thanks to an unbeatable offer from LaFourchette, the bill amounted to CHF35 i.e. including a 50% discount.
