When we walked in, the... read more Lovely little hole in the wall. My family and I decided to take the half hour drive down to D'Michaels after reading all of the reviews. When we walked in, the decor was a mixture of beach side and boardwalk atmosphere. We were immediately greeted by the owner who was so friendly and sweet. We decided to order a philly cheesesteak, a bomb special which is basically a philly cheesesteak with conecuh sausage on it, and kids pizza. First, my kids are very picky eaters and are usually never happy with any pizza but they loved their pizza. I had the cheesesteak and I loved it. It was the best one I had here in Alabama and that is saying something since I come from the North where the Philly cheesesteak was created. The meat was cooked perfectly and it was the right amount of cheese melted together on a soft roll which was not one of these hotdog buns trying to be passed off as a hoagie roll). My husband had the bomb and he was in heaven and even told me that if I cooked like that everyday forget it, he would not eat another thing but that. Who would have thought to put a conecuh sausage between a philly cheesesteak? Yummmm. The fries were nice and crispy and cooked to perfection! Needless to say.... We left with our bellies full, a smile on our face, a nice memory, and a new place to go to eat. We will be back. All of this for $30. Could not ask for me.

Reason for the 3 Star is When I Walked N The Door Not One Of The Employee greeted me. One was on the phone with customer and the other 2 guys made eye contactbut never said Hi Or Nothing Even After I Had Said Hi To Them.

Their Philly cheesesteak is to die for anddddd their onion rings are so good! I had nice and friendly service and Fred, I believe that was his name, was so niceand kind and courteous. He suggested I try the Philly cheesesteak and I'm so glad I did. I will be back, very soon to try morethings on the menu!!!
