What Branna Snow likes about Tiamo 2:
Without doubt, the best Italian restaurant across Mebourne and Sydney. The entree bruschetta is by far the best I've ever had. The meatballs were sensational. It was hard to pick a standout mean but the traditional Calabrian Involtini is the finest dish served on Laigon Street. View all feedback.

read moreIl Cantuccio, located on Lygon Street in Melbourne, is hailed as the best Italian restaurant in both Melbourne and Sydney. Customers rave about the delicious and authentic dishes, with highlights being the bruschetta, meatballs, traditional Calabrian Involtini, carbonara, and seafood pasta options. The portions are generous, the atmosphere is inviting, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The restaurant has a rustic and homey feel, with a cozy interior and outdoor seating. Customers also praise the complimentary bread with high-quality olive oil and the massive bowl of parmesan provided at each table. Overall, Il Cantuccio offers a perfect dining experience with exceptional food, service, and ambiance.
TBH - Tiamo is not my favorite restuarant on Lygon street.
We came here two days in a row and the food was consistently goodThe first was for dinner where I had the special.
Tortellini was dry, bland and an utter disappointment Too hot to even enjoy ourselves.
