Authentic Guatemalan food!!! Everything we had was SOOO GOOOD! My husband ordered the tamales de arroz and I ordered the huevos divorciados. Everything was very reasonably priced. We are excited to visit again soon, we had a great experience!! View all feedback.
What Jeanette O doesn't like about El Kiche Bakery:
Came at 7 pm, all lights were on that location there were people eating inside no indication that it was closed but the doors were locked. Several groups of people came in to try to dine, but there was no notice that the location was closed. Unfortunate, because lost a lot of business. Food is good but hours of operation contradict. Holy hell good food made my husband have a nostalgic moment this is the spot if ur Guatemalan and far from home drop here for good food and non Guatemalan get ready to make those tastebuds work
Comida authentica de Guatemala. Rico ell sabor y el servicio muy amigable. Want to try authentic Guatemalan food this is one of the best places to come visit for some real grandmas Guatemalan cooking. Enjoy!!!
Stopped by here on a lunch break at work and was super happy with my decision. Very authentic Guatemalan food, the tostadas de pollo are my favorite, and I?ll be coming back for more
The best Guatemalan food I have had in Houston thus far. Right off I tried a Tiky Pineapple soda. It's made with cane sugar and the flavor is upfront ripe pineapple ????. For my meal I dined on the Jocon Chicken which had a wonderful cilantro-tomatilloflavor. Others in my party enjoyed the Churrasco steak and Horchata which also received rave reviews. The restaurant also has abakery and a small store selling Guatemalan food products. It's clean and has a Guatemalan vibe. The service was exceptional. Mywaitress was kind, polite, and ready to serve. I'll be back!
Very good cultural experience. It's not just the food that transports you, but the live musical really kicks it up a notch! Not to mention, pan dulce and plenty of Togo options. Highly recommend!
