We were looking for a Sunday lunch stop off when driving home from a break in Somerset ,wanted just a honest roast that wasn’t too expensive , We hit gold , A friendly welcoming down to earth pub , A plate with as much veg as meat which is ridiculously hard to find . We throughly enjoyed our roasts and Homemade apple crumble . At £19.95 for two lunches (13.95for one) we were very impressed , had a good drinkable beer too . Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We ordered through Just Eat 2 adults and 2 children Sunday roasts. Just eat caused all sorts of havoc and kept cancelling drivers. The castle were fantastic, they cooked fresh meals (meaning they had to book the ones left under a lamp due to just eat not showing up). Then they drive here to deliver it to us. Next time I will 100% call and order direct from them. Fantastic staff, service and communication.
