The pastrami was excellent, the pick... read more The best paprika I have had in years. The New Yorker on roasted sourdough was a bit pricey, but it was definitely worth it. The pastrami was excellent, the pickles were perfect, and the American-style mustard was high quality. Definitely worth a visit.

It seemed like no one knew their role, leading to a chaotic and unpleasant interaction. At one point, the card machine was shoved in my face when all I wanted was an orange juice. The final straw was when my 4-year-old was treated rudely. A server came over, snatched a napkin from our table, and made a disparaging remark about my daughter. It was simply rude and showed a complete lack of understanding of how to interact with customers, especially children. I will not be returning to this place. I might consider grabbing a coffee to go, but the service is the heart of any business, and today we saw a prime example of how it can go wrong. Disappointing.

The salmon and cream cheese sandwiches were particularly delicious. We also tried the avocado with speck, smash avocado, and halloumi crushed sandwiches. The smoothies were also very good. The only downside was that everything was served at once, but other than that, we would definitely come back again.

But the unwelcoming attitude of the staff (bar one person who was waitressing and was lovely) means I will not go back as there are plenty of places that serve great coffee (one of which is just across the road). Maybe just an off day, maybe not, but not going to find out. Would not recommend.
