Was looking forward to trying this chippy out as had heard good things. All hot and freshly cooked. I had Haddock, a battered sausage and chips. Sausage was good, chips were good, batter on the haddock was nice and crispy but the haddock had no flavour at all. I love haddock because of its sweet flavour but this was tasteless. The service at this restaurant is excellent, especially the lovely staff member named Roni! She is always there to assist and greet us. And let's not forget about the amazing food. This is definitely the best fish and chip restaurant in town. I highly recommend it.
I had a wonderful experience at this family restaurant that serves delicious fish and chips. The food was great and the service was friendly and welcoming.
As I now work nearby, I have become a regular customer at this restaurant. The fish and chips are consistently good, with generous portions and always freshly cooked. The staff are all friendly, but I particularly appreciate Roni, who is usually the one serving.
What an amazing Fish and Chip shop in Minster Village. We ordered the large cod and chips twice and sausage and chips for our children. The portion size was more then generous, very hot and very tasty. Ronnie, Natalia and Alex all very lovely and the atmosphere was great and very welcoming. The children loved their chippy chips and we will definitely return in the future. I would definitely recommend whether your local or travelling through Minster to stop off and sample Archies Fish chips.
