Red Lion - Feedback

What Aaron Davis likes about Red Lion:
The food was generally of a good standard. The chorizo and potato needed a thicker broth. The chicken was a little flavourless and the puddings and chips were poor. The pork and black bean was excellent though and the burger filled up a teenager. Service was generally good although we had to get our own spoons. Ambience was good View all feedback. we visited this pub 18 months ago, which is a deterioration. it was a Saturday night and was dead. a young waitress remained to serve us, she was very inexperienced and had no support from other senior staff. we had to wait too long for our food and said that our appetizers are served with our main course. then we cancelled our starters.
