Description

Nestled in Andover, this family-run Indian restaurant offers a blend of spicy delights and some culinary disappointments. While many reviewers praise the fresh, flavorful curries and delicious naan, others express concern over quality inconsistencies in delivery orders, such as underwhelming prawn portions and lackluster flavors. Service remains a consistent highlight, with attentive staff and accommodations for dietary needs. The restaurant embraces a casual BYOB policy, making it a relaxed dining choice. Although some diners have enjoyed superb meals, others suggest room for improvement—an array of opinions that beckons both loyal patrons and curious newcomers.

Ordered last night, payed £48 including delivery for 3 dishes. The chicken was so overcooked it wasn't palatable. Waste of money.

We were in search of a new curry delivery service to try, and having had decent meals at the restaurant before Covid, we decided to place an online order. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our experience. The delivery was fast and the driver was polite and friendly. The delivery charge was reasonable. However, we were not satisfied with the quality of the food. The prawn biryani had very small, cheap shrimp that were barely bigger than a pea. Our request to substitute a vegetable curry of the same price was denied. The vegetable curry only had two slices of potato, a small cauliflower floret, and some sauce. The sauce was okay, but lacked flavor. The curries were under-spiced and mainly tasted of sugar and coloring. The chicken was dry and overcooked. Both sauces seemed diluted with water, instead of ghee, butter, or oil. I believe that restaurants should strive to improve without needing customers to complain.

I have visited this restaurant twice recently, once with one friend and another time with a different friend. The food was delicious and the staff were amazing. I also ordered delivery for a Saturday night and it was just as good, piping hot. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a tasty takeaway from this restaurant. The naan breads were delicious; Mine was stuffed with coconut, raisins and was sweet and moorish. The Currys were very good and had lots of filling, tasted fresh and were not overly floating with oil, like you can get in some takeaways. We will be ordering again.
