They performed a lot of classic tunes, which was even more enjoyable. We were definitely the youngest ones in the bar, and I'm 55! But the atmosphere was so lively and welcoming, it was just a lot of fun. There’s something special about a saloon-style bar in an old brick building that really adds to the vibe of the entire square. The owner, Nell, embodies the spirit of a proud entrepreneur. Not only did we have a great time, but the prices were also very reasonable. It felt wonderful to support a neighborhood bar that we hope to have nearby. We didn’t try the food, but I have no doubt it’s just as good as everything else there. I can’t wait to come back to watch a football match on a Sunday. My guess is it attracts a friendly crowd of Cowboys fans. We definitely need more bars like this!

They have great karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays from 8:30 PM to 12:30 AM, hosted by Dennis Bailey, who is an excellent KJ with the best sound system in Terrell, TX. The owner, Neill, is a wonderful person as well. The place may be small, but it feels like home. I absolutely love it and would rate it a perfect 10! If you're in Terrell, TX, you should definitely check out Pinkie Sue at the Side Street Bar.
