The o... read more We have been to this restaurant many times over the last 16 years. It is one of our favourite places in Umbria. The lake view has always been outstanding. The owners have always been very welcoming and friendly and now the food quality completes a very memorable lunchtime experience. Christian and Alberto....well done! See you next year! The atmosphere is quiet and the servic... read more We chose this restaurant because of its beautiful view and as luck would have it, were treated to a truly memorable meal. The atmosphere is quiet and the service attentive: the house wine is delicious and our dishes did not disappoint. The porcini-stuffed tortellicini was undoubtedly the best pasta I have eaten anywhere, ever. And at my age, ever is a long time. I would drive a great distance once again just to relive this experience. Head there if you're in the region. You'll thank me.

It is lovely to sit by the lake and enjoy. Not too many places in Piediluco you an do this. Food is good average. Pasta dishes were OK. Main course, tagliata, was below average. Thin slice of beef instead of nice chunky steak sliced. If you want good food, look for alternative restaurants in the area which will serve far better local dishes and enjoy the view over the lake from the local bar with a nice glass of beer or wine down the road.

We were a party of 8 (with kids , touring the area, and happened to see the restaurant from the road winding down the mountain....... We were pleasantly surprised with the great meal they served (including excellent jumbo shrimps.... and then took the time to relax on the lake until sunset. The staff was very friendly and helpful Definitely worth a visit.
