We used to visit this pub about 5 years ago with my grandad (pie connoisseur) and he said their steak and ale pie was the best he’d ever had six off us went for Sunday dinner today and that didn’t disappoint Highly recommend staff friendly too View all feedback. Arrived at 12:15 as part of a group of 16. 2 of the party were delayed by traffic but we were ready for 12: 40. Starters and Mains were preordered, followed by desserts coffee. Managed to pay at 3:15!!. The wait between courses was painfully slow. The food was mediocre at best.
