Il menù offre anche una golosa selezione di antipasti, pasta, insalate e piatti del giorno, senza dimenticare i nostri favolosi dolci fatti in casa. La nostra carta dei vini è tutta italiana, con etichette interessanti e di ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, che riflettono tradizione e tipicità. Con un eccellente menu di cocktail e un’atmosfera vivace e divertente, Lucca Enoteca è semplicemente il miglior ristorante italiano della zona. Non vediamo l’ora di accogliervi. A really nice Italian restaurant... nothing negative.
The Lucca pizza is superb
Ok, so, my family are Italian. So as you can imagine, ordering pizza in England can be risky business. But my goodness … I could have been down the port of Naples! The authentic flavour; the thing base, the creamy tomato and floppy roll it up dough. Oh man. And the arancini??? To die for!!! Not only that, the atmosphere was chill, a Tuesday with most tables booked ,this place is clearly a popular one! But on top of that, my sister was feeding her baby and the waitress came over and asked if it would help if she cut the pizza into slices. Oh my goodness, customer service 10/10 as well! Top place, sad I live 90 minutes away but I’ll definitely be making this a regular stop now!

Pizza was great, pasta decent. Only really giving a low rating because we were told we couldn 't eat in and had to get takeaway, so had to eat it in our car with no fork for pasta and with the pizza not pre-cut. I can 't see the rationale because it was still busy with lots of people eating when we drove away. The whole thing was a bit unclear and quite poor service. Forgot the salad on top of the pasta also. EDIT for reply, for clarity: We absolutely were not told that a table would be a wait; we were told we can only do takeaway service from now or words to that effect. Nothing about waiting for a table was mentioned. We would have gladly waited for a few minutes for a table. We also asked for cutlery and were explicitly told that we could not be given cutlery. Fair enough point on the cutting of the pizzas, but we were already back in our vehicle by the time we realised it was not cut.
