Best fish and chips in Clacton i.m.o Always cooked fresh to order and do a budget fish and chips, as well as a medium and large size. Staff are friendly and helpful, would highly recommend you give them a try
Tried for the first time and found the taste quite different, especially for an Indian palate. Initially, it was a bit bland as it lacked salt or spices. However, after adding some salt and sauce, the flavor improved significantly, and by the time I finished, I was really enjoying it! Their service is good, prices seem reasonable, and the portions are quite generous. Overall, I had a pleasant experience with the famous fish and chips.

Overall a very nice bit of fish and chips. I came with my family during the late afternoon, ordered quite a lot and it came to a reasonable price compared to the pricing back home. The quality of the fish and chips were really good, bar being a bit oily when we unwrapped them. Regardless, the large cod was truly large and so were the chips. Both perfectly cooked and still piping hot after the walk to the beach. A local seagull also decided to sample the food too, which I believe that it marked quite highly! Will definitely return next time I'm in Clacton!
