Despite ongoing construction, the waterside location of the restaurant offers a promising future. While currently resembling a food truck, the half-pound burger surprised with its good flavor. Despite some quality concerns with the sausages and burgers, the welcoming staff and hot chocolate offer a warm and friendly atmosphere. Prices may be high, but the efficient service and good value make it a popular choice, even on cold days. With some improvements needed in food quality and COVID safety measures, the cafe seems to be a favorite among locals, promising a unique experience worth visiting, especially for a warm coffee or a delicious scone.
This place is mainly for getting hot chocolate, but it was a warm welcome on a cold day. The entire staff was friendly and professional, despite probably feeling frozen themselves. It's a great spot and I can't wait to visit again on a warmer day!
Batesmans Is the most amazing café ever .Lisa the most lovely s person you could ever meet she got the most kindest heart and would help anyone out . It a great location right by the beach and good value for money
Best bacon sandwiches, with the best views to enjoy whilst eating them. Very friendly staff and always seem to be happy. Love it.
Best loaded chips I've ever had! Great little cafe service from their van out front, friendly and speedy service.
Always have lunch here when we go to Brightlingsea. Food is freshly prepared and tastes great. Keep up the good work ladies.
