Additionally, we have the largest selection of Kelly's of Cornwall ice cream in Brightlingsea, offering 22 fabulous flavors, including the delicious Kelly's whip ice cream. We also cater to beach needs with buckets, spades, and crabbing lines available, along with a small selection of gifts for memorable souvenirs.

This place is mainly for getting hot chocolate, but it was a warm welcome on a cold day. The entire staff was friendly and professional, despite probably feeling frozen themselves. It's a great spot and I can't wait to visit again on a warmer day!
Batesmans Is the most amazing café ever .Lisa the most lovely s person you could ever meet she got the most kindest heart and would help anyone out . It a great location right by the beach and good value for money
To be completely transparent, this food truck is selling chips, burgers, fried eggs, and bacon at a high price of £10.40. We also purchased 2 ice lollies, an ice cream, and a fizzy drink. Unfortunately, we did not observe any COVID safety measures from the staff, and the food hygiene was lacking. Do yourself a favor and drive 0.5 miles to the nearby fish and chip shop instead. It's much better.
Best bacon sandwiches, with the best views to enjoy whilst eating them. Very friendly staff and always seem to be happy. Love it.
While construction is ongoing, the restaurant currently resembles a food truck. I tried a half-pound burger with onions and, to my surprise, it was actually quite good. The staff is as pleasant and helpful as always. I recommend being patient and waiting for the restaurant to fully reopen, as it will likely be worth it.
