Schlotzsky's - Tempe

I have been going to this Schlotzsky's location for over 20 years and I highly recommend it! I love their bread, ham, and garlic butter - it is so delicious. I used to come here for lunch when I worked in the area, but recently I have been using the drive-thru. They also have outdoor seating which I'm sure will be popular when the weather is cooler. Even if they make a mistake with my order, the sandwich is still delicious. If you found this review helpful, please consider giving it a like!

Horrible customer service. They gave me an incomplete order. Didn?t find out until I had reached my destination. I called to let them know and I was told I can come back to pick up just the part that was missing. My complaint is that this isn?t a mistake I made, therefor I should be compensated in some way for having to come back to have their mistake corrected. I tried to give this location another chance. I came back. Placed my order. I waited about 20 minutes for my order. While multiple customers came in and out with their orders. I spoke with a manager name Erica. I asked about corporate phone number. She said it?s on the receipt. I check the receipt. No number. Then she tells me it?s on the website. It was like pulling teeth out just to get corporate number. I will be contacting them as well. As I shouldn?t be treated like this as a paying customer. (Joseph took my order on both days) Edit (reply): I respectfully decline calling to speak with store manager Margie, as I spoke with her regarding my first issue and she was very rude. I?m already in contact with corporate.

Great customer service! Staff was very friendly and professional. She repeated my order back to me to make sure she had it right, then told me I could pull up the the window. After I was done with the transaction, she smiled and said, ? Have a nice day!?. The food was delicious.

One of my all time favorite place to grab quick bite at work. It was my first visit after Covid and I didn?t notice much change. Almost everything was the same I love their sandwiches and bread options. What I like the most is the option to pick small or medium bread size. So if you?re starving, medium works great and if you prefer light, small is the best. They provide excellent customer service. What a pleasing team! Keep up the good work!

Reading through some of the comments, I'm kinda saddened by them. I worked at this specific Schlotzsky's location for like 3 yrs on and off, starting back in 1999 I believe, since before the building where it now sits was constructed; and it was definitely the best work experience of my life. From the manager at the time (Debra Manzanares) to my co-workers and the atmosphere, it was all great. Not to mention the food...so yummy, I still miss it all! At the time we rarely received any complaints from customers, regarding customer service or their food. I was both a cashier (dine-in and drive thru) and a sandwich maker. Seeing so many complains now it's kinda heart wrenching cuz that store has a special place in my heart. Hopefully this Margie I keep reading about steps up her game and runs that store the way it should. If i could go back and work there, I would in a heartbeat.
