The wine tasting was overpriced. Although some of the wines were good, charging $55 for four 4-ounce pours seems excessive. You might as well buy a bottle and hope you enjoy it instead. The library wines were even pricier. After all, it’s just wine, not gold! That said, it is a lovely venue, and they did offer some decent entertainment.
On a midweek afternoon, I enjoyed a delightful experience at Lorimar Winery with live music accompanying my wine and lunch. It's rare to find such a charming setting on a daily basis! I ordered the carne asada sandwich with fries, and it was absolutely delicious. Marcie provided excellent service, which made my first visit even more enjoyable. The live music was the perfect finishing touch, making for a lovely way to spend a weekday afternoon.
Here are some of the highlights: 1. We didn't have a reservation, but the staff managed to fit us in. 2. Initially, they seated us at a table where the sun was blaring, but when we asked to move, the hostess cheerfully suggested several alternative options. 3. Just two minutes after we sat down, Zack came over to take our order. 4. Our food arrived within eight minutes, hot, delicious, and perfectly portioned. 5. Whitney, the Hospitality Manager, came by twice to genuinely check if everything was satisfactory. 6. When we requested the check, it arrived in just two minutes, and the pricing was very reasonable. 7. As we walked around the property, every employee greeted us warmly. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for many reasons and for various occasions. But most importantly, they excel in customer service. Thank you! Alex
The new chef should be embarrassed to offer such a heavy, lackluster lunch option that shows a complete disregard for both patrons and the summer climate in this region. It raises questions about the chef's capabilities or whether they believe that people, including tourists, prefer subpar meals. There is nothing fresh, flavorful, or enjoyable about the new menu, and I sincerely hope the ownership reviews it before it leads to the establishment's decline. I feel for the hardworking servers, managers, and staff members who have to support this disappointing showcase of what should be exceptional cuisine. It’s time to reconsider these menu changes or hire someone who can fulfill the vision you’re aiming for. Best wishes!
This is honestly one of my favorite wineries in Temecula. We recently got married on Veterans Day (11/12/22) at the Coach House, and everything was perfect. Ashley, our coordinator, was absolutely fantastic. Clear communication is crucial for weddings, and it exceeded our expectations from the initial tour of the Coach House to the end of our celebration. The venue is great, the staff is excellent, the grounds are beautiful, and it’s affordable regardless of the size of your event. We highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a wedding location. You won’t be disappointed!
