We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant a few months back. The staff was attentive and helped us find a spot to sit while we sampled some wine. Their prices are quite reasonable, and the quality of the wine is exceptional. We particularly loved their blended and aged port and even purchased a bottle that we haven't had the chance to enjoy yet. The atmosphere was very sophisticated, and I can't wait to return... What Maria Scroggins dislikes about Lorimar Winery:
I 've read other reviews, and I have to agree. I have been a wine member for quite some time. In my opinion, this was the the place to enjoy great wine, good food, good music with great company. Somehow, someone decided to switch the menu to Tuscan style. I 'm sorry if you haven 't heard this before.. it 's not working. The chicken pasta was bland, the caprice chicken sandwich, horrible. Let 's not talk about the cha... View all feedback.
I visited Lorimar for the first time on Sunday, which happened to be my birthday. I went there for lunch and drinks with my family. The atmosphere was fantastic, featuring plenty of covered seating with misting fans. During our visit, there was live music playing. The prices were very reasonable, making it ideal for larger groups. They can accommodate you! I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

My friends and I dined here this past weekend, and we were really disappointed to find that the menu has taken a turn for the worse. I was hoping to enjoy the previous offerings, which were packed with rich flavors and generous portions. We ended up ordering pasta and flatbreads, and sadly, it was a letdown. The chicken piccata was particularly bad—it was bland, served cold, and frankly disgusting. I would be embarrassed to serve something like that. On top of the poor food quality, we had to wait over an hour for our meals. To make matters worse, one of the employees, Jim, seemed to have no idea about customer service. His attitude was a poor reflection on the establishment. If we decide to come back, we will definitely eat somewhere else first. I really hope they consider bringing back the old menu and improving their customer service.
The wine tasting was overpriced. Although some of the wines were good, charging $55 for four 4-ounce pours seems excessive. You might as well buy a bottle and hope you enjoy it instead. The library wines were even pricier. After all, it’s just wine, not gold! That said, it is a lovely venue, and they did offer some decent entertainment.
On a midweek afternoon, I enjoyed a delightful experience at Lorimar Winery with live music accompanying my wine and lunch. It's rare to find such a charming setting on a daily basis! I ordered the carne asada sandwich with fries, and it was absolutely delicious. Marcie provided excellent service, which made my first visit even more enjoyable. The live music was the perfect finishing touch, making for a lovely way to spend a weekday afternoon.
